Visa to allow direct crypto payments from wallets

Visa has partnered with Mesh, enabling users to pay for purchases directly from their crypto wallets at over 175 million merchants worldwide.

Key features of the new service

• No need to apply for a separate card or pre-sell assets.
• Mesh handles cryptocurrency conversion directly at the point of sale.
• Merchants do not need to change their existing payment systems.

The feature will be available exclusively through crypto wallets integrated with Visa and Mesh. Launch dates and supported applications have not yet been announced.
