Trump Proposes Replacing AI with SI

Donald Trump has proposed replacing the term artificial intelligence (AI) with Synthetic Intelligence (SI). Against this backdrop, interest in Slovenia's national domain .si has surged sharply.

In August, approximately 2,000 domains were registered in the .si zone, and by September, the number of applications had grown to around 40,000. This situation resembles the history of Anguilla with the .ai zone, which became popular among IT companies and brought significant revenue to the island.

US First Lady Melania Trump holds dual citizenship – US and Slovenian. This coincidence has amplified public resonance around the new term and domain zone.
