Tether and the National Bank of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the concept of a national stablecoin pegged to the tenge.
The parties plan to prepare a proposal for the pilot launch of a digital currency. Additionally, the possibility of tokenizing real assets will be explored.
A pilot project for asset tokenization is planned to launch in the city of Alatau. The Hadron platform may be used to implement this initiative.
