The Tesla Model S Plaid suffered serious damage in a crash that occurred at a speed of 285 km/h. The incident was caused by the sudden rupture of one of the tires.

The driver accelerated the car to extreme speeds when the tire burst. The vehicle skidded heavily, leading to loss of control and collision.

Thanks to the activation of safety systems, the driver and passengers survived. However, the vehicle sustained significant body damage.
