Telegram tests its own recommendation feed

A new "News" tab has been discovered in the beta version of Telegram for macOS, which may become the basis for the messenger's own recommendation feed.

The feed will be divided into two sections: "Added" — publications from channels the user follows, and "For You" — personalized recommendations based on interests.

Although there are no details about how the algorithm works yet, the trend is clear: Telegram is gradually transforming from a regular messenger into a full-fledged social platform.
