Complete ban on vape sales in Tatarstan from 2027

The Republic of Tatarstan has introduced a complete ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes and liquids for them starting March 1, 2027. The decision was made by the deputies of the State Council of the republic.

The new rules will affect all retail outlets, regardless of the store format or the buyer's age. The ban is absolute and provides no exceptions.

Such control measures have long been under development at the federal level. There is a possibility that similar restrictions may be implemented in other regions of Russia in the near future.
