State Duma Approves Law on Currency Operations with Digital Ruble
The State Duma of the Russian Federation has approved in its first reading a bill regulating currency transactions with the digital ruble. This document opens up new opportunities for business in the field of international settlements.
New regulations will allow companies to make payments under foreign trade contracts directly in digital rubles. This will simplify payment logistics and reduce transaction costs.
In addition, the law grants the right to credit foreign currency earnings into special accounts in digital currency. Enterprises will be able to convert received funds without the need to use traditional bank transfers in fiat currencies.
