Spy Implants Found in Ledger Wallets from MediaMarkt

User Johannes discovered spy implants in two Ledger wallets purchased at European MediaMarkt stores. Store employees claim the devices were not returned items.

Supplies to MediaMarkt and Saturn stores, comprising over a thousand sales points in eleven countries, may be at risk.

The supplier is listed as European distributor Aqipa GmbH. The first found wallet has been sent to Mark Carpeles for analysis, while the second will be forwarded to Ledger for expert review.

Ledger previously confirmed device compromise only through Asian seller CryptoBilis. The company has not yet commented on findings in Europe, but the user demands an immediate product recall.
