Sparkassen allows cryptocurrency trading in its app

Germany's largest savings bank network, Sparkassen, has launched cryptocurrency trading directly within its banking app. Customers can now buy and sell #BTC, #ETH, #XRP, #SOL, and #POL. The service is currently available in select banks within the network, with plans to add 30-40 more banks each month.

History of attitude towards digital assets

Interestingly, just a few years ago, Sparkassen opposed crypto trading due to high risks.

The network comprises approximately 340 independent savings banks across Germany.
