CBL-514 Drug Destroys Fat Without Reducing Appetite

Scientists have developed the CBL-514 drug, which directly destroys adipose tissue. Unlike Ozempic, it does not suppress appetite.

The medication is administered directly into the fat tissue. Clinical trials showed a loss of 12% of fat mass over four weeks.

The distinctive feature of the drug lies in its long-term effect. After stopping injections, it becomes more difficult for fat to return to previous volumes.

Currently, CBL-514 is undergoing Phase III clinical trials. This is the final stage before registering the medicine on the market.
