Schoolchildren forced to learn Shaman's songs

Schoolchildren are required to learn songs by the artist Shaman and perform them at "Conversations About Important Things" events. This is evidenced by correspondence published by one of the schoolgirls.

The teacher's message contains a requirement to learn the musician's hit titled "Russia-Mom".

Other students report that the assignment is limited solely to vocals. They are also tasked with creating illustrations for the musical works.

In some educational institutions, tracks by Shaman have already been included in the "Music" subject curriculum.

The situation developed further in 2025 when the Russian Ministry of Education recommended one of the artist's songs for use in lessons.
