Sber500: 25 Deeptech Startups and Access to Sber Infrastructure
The final presentations of 25 Sber500 accelerator projects took place at the Moscow Startup Summit. The participants were predominantly deeptech startups developing solutions in bioprinting and artificial intelligence.
Project evaluation utilized innovative monitoring technologies. The jury tracked audience reactions using the Neurocode neuroheadset, which measured brain activity.
Most finalists use AI to create new solutions. Specifically, presented projects included platforms for breeding new plant varieties and 3D tissue bioprinting technologies.
A key announcement during the demo day was German Gref's statement that Sber is ready to provide startups with its own infrastructure. The bank is prepared to open its laboratories and construction sites for testing developments.
Providing physical infrastructure creates a unique environment for technology refinement. This allows companies to move from prototypes to real-world tests based on the bank's existing facilities.
