Samokat introduces different prices depending on purchase time

Samokat changes prices depending on time of day

Delivery service Samokat has begun changing its pricing policy, introducing a dependence of product costs on the time of day. Now customers may encounter situations where the same products are cheaper at certain hours.

Popular energy drinks have already started being sold with a special label 'cheaper until 9 AM'. This means that to get a discount, the client needs to place an order in the morning hours.

Previously, the service introduced a mechanism for an additional fee for orders whose total does not reach the minimum threshold. This new practice allows the company to compensate for logistics costs for small purchases.

The introduction of dynamic pricing and additional charges forces consumers to be more careful about their cart composition and the time of placing an order. Buyers are now forced to analyze whether it is profitable for them to buy goods during a specific period or if they should wait for a sale.

Changes in tariffs reflect the overall trend towards optimizing delivery services' expenses. Services strive to balance between price accessibility for mass consumers and operational economic efficiency.
