Russian Starlink Alternative
Bureau 1440 has unveiled its subscriber terminals for satellite internet, claiming speeds nearly double those of Starlink. The product lineup now includes solutions for both mass consumers and specialized applications.
The top-tier 1440 ULTRA plan delivers speeds up to 700 Mbps, significantly outperforming the competitor's maximum offer of 400 Mbps. Alongside this, devices for equipping Russian Railways trains (1440 EARTH) and a budget model for homes and rescue teams (1440 MINI) were also demonstrated.
Service sales have not yet begun, and pricing for terminals and subscriptions remains undisclosed. The company's current orbital constellation consists of only 30 satellites, which is 300 times fewer than Elon Musk's global Starlink network.
