Tightening Driving License Exam Rules from 2027

Starting March 1, 2027, Russia will significantly tighten the rules for passing driving license exams. The new system aims to completely eliminate the possibility of cheating and ensure maximum honesty in the knowledge assessment process.

Measures to complicate the procedure include the implementation of a multi-level video surveillance and audio recording system. Cameras and microphones will be installed in the exam room to provide continuous recording of all activities.
