Russia to introduce licenses for electric scooter riders

Russia plans to ban the operation of electric scooters without special permission. The initiative to introduce licenses for this category of vehicles was proposed by the Investigative Committee.

At the Federation Council roundtable, it was noted that scooter riders cause numerous problems on the roads.

The new rules will affect all citizens under the age of sixteen. They will have to take special exams to obtain driving privileges.
