New way to hack PlayStation 5 via DNS

PlayStation 5 users should be aware of a new console hacking method that allows unauthorized access within minutes. To carry out the attack, it is sufficient to change DNS settings to the IP address 45.56.67.85.

The hack is performed through the "User Guide" menu, making the process hidden and easy to execute. The vulnerability affects all firmware versions released before September 16 of this year.

Security experts confirm the existence of this vulnerability, but note that the manufacturer has already taken steps to eliminate it in updated software versions.

To protect their consoles, users are recommended:

  • Immediately check the current PlayStation 5 firmware version
  • Update the system to the latest available version (after September 16)
  • Reset DNS settings to default values
  • Avoid connecting to suspicious networks
