Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras announced the launch of two innovative research projects that will actively utilize the Cardano blockchain platform.
The first project focuses on developing sustainable aviation fuel. The Cardano technology is planned to be used for reliable tracking of sustainability certificates and preventing double counting of carbon emission reductions.
The second study aims to enhance transparency in the supply chain of diesel fuel containing renewable components. Blockchain will provide full control over the process—from production to final use by consumers.
