Rise in the Number of Russians Believing in Geocentrism
According to the Russian Academy of Sciences, one in five residents of Russia adheres to a geocentric model of the world. Over the past year, the level of pseudoscientific beliefs in the country has grown: if one in six people thought this way in 2025, the share has now increased.
Pseudoscientific views are also prevalent on other topics. Nearly one in three Russians believes in the existence of wizards. Additionally, 16% of respondents believe that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time.
