New Stanford Prison Experiment: Netflix Trailer

Netflix has released the trailer for a new reality show based on the famous psychological experiment. Titled "The New Stanford Prison Experiment," the project transports viewers into the conditions of a real prison.

Show Participants

Thirty people will participate in the project, spending two weeks in isolation. Their roles will be assigned randomly: some will be designated as prisoners and others as guards. This setup allows researchers to test the hypothesis of how quickly individuals adapt to positions of power and submission.

Research Objectives

The creators aim to determine whether empathy and moral principles can withstand systemic pressure. Participants must live under new strict rules, creating unique conditions for observing human behavior in an extreme environment.
