Moscow Exchange to Launch Cryptocurrency Trading on December 1

The Moscow Exchange intends to launch cryptocurrency trading on December 1. Testing of the trading infrastructure began a week ago and will continue until the official start of trading.

Trading in Bitcoin and other digital assets is planned through the existing stock market infrastructure. This will allow integrating crypto assets into a mechanism familiar to investors without creating a new system.

New legislation will give the Moscow Exchange the ability to use its current license. Additional permits or registration in special registries will not be required to launch trading.
