Russian Ministry of Health Procures Anti-Plague Suits
The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is initiating large-scale procurement of anti-plague suits to ensure protection for medical workers and staff. During the current fiscal year, budget funds are being allocated for the purchase of specialized equipment.
Special attention is being paid to the Far Eastern Federal District, where an official auction was announced in Primorsky Krai. The starting price of the contract is nine million rubles, indicating a significant volume of products being procured.
According to technical documentation, the acquired sets are intended exclusively for forming state material reserves. This is standard practice for ensuring readiness for potential epidemiological threats and maintaining sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.
Similar purchases have already been made in other regions of the country, including the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and the Republic of Karelia.
Financial volumes of regional procurements range from hundreds of thousands to several million rubles from local budgets. This process demonstrates a systematic approach to strengthening the resource base of the healthcare system in various geographical zones.
