MIA: Telegram Refuses to Cooperate in Combating Drugs
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced that the Telegram messenger refuses to cooperate with Russian law enforcement agencies in combating drug propaganda.
Representatives of the department point out that the platform is actively used to involve teenagers in drug-related crimes.
According to an official spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Telegram ignores proposals for interaction from Russian security structures. It is noted that, in addition to the darknet, communication among members of gangs involved in drug crimes often takes place through this messenger.
