MetaMask has confirmed an incident affecting part of its own infrastructure. At present, there are no signs of a direct threat to wallet users.

As a preventive measure, the company began withdrawing affected validators from non-custodial staking processes. This action aims to minimize potential risks.

MetaMask also manages some Ethereum validators belonging to the Lido protocol. After the incident was identified, these assets were withdrawn from staking.

stETH token holders do not need to take any actions. The situation is under control by the developers.
