MediaMarkt Halts Sales of Ledger Wallets

European retail chain MediaMarktSaturn has suspended the sale of Ledger hardware wallets across all sales channels.

The decision to completely halt retail and online sales was made following reports of a hardware implant found in the devices. The move was coordinated with the device manufacturer.

The company confirmed that its infrastructure and internal systems were not compromised during the incident. An investigation into the circumstances is currently underway.
