Local Buzz Transcription with GPU Acceleration

Buzz is a local audio and video transcription application that operates without cloud services. The program supports Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Main Features

• Transcription of files and YouTube videos
• Real-time speech recognition from the microphone
• Speaker diarization for improved accuracy
• Export to TXT, SRT, and VTT formats

Processing is accelerated using CUDA for NVIDIA, MLX for Apple Silicon, and Vulkan via Whisper.cpp. A command-line interface and plugin system are available.
