The Government of Kyrgyzstan has decided to fully liquidate the state-backed stablecoin USDKG. The Cabinet of Ministers' decree, dated August 20, confirms the termination of the project.
Launched less than a year ago, the project operated on a gold-backed basis. Now, the token is completely withdrawn from circulation across all blockchain networks.
Digital currency holders are given two options for withdrawing funds: exchange for fiat currency or transfer to USDT. This decision allows the asset's operations to conclude without loss of value for users.
