Interactive LLM Responses Instead of Text

Andrei Karpachi proposes abandoning text output as the primary format for large language model responses. Instead of verbose explanations, a hierarchy is proposed: text, diagram, interactive HTML page, or video.

ASD-STE100 Approach

To simplify the text, the author recommends the ASD-STE100 controlled English language standard. It includes a dictionary of approximately 900 approved words, strict syntax rules, and a ban on ambiguous terminology. This method was originally created for aviation documentation to eliminate instruction ambiguity.

Multimedia Interfaces

The core idea is generating one-time software artifacts. The model can create interactive charts, sliders, animations, or short explanatory videos instead of long text blocks. This approach allows users to quickly grasp complex topics through visualization, after which the tool can be deleted.
