Dider Spider Welding Robot Climbs Walls
Japanese engineers have introduced the Dider Spider welding robot, which is capable of moving along vertical surfaces. The device is equipped with magnets on its limbs, allowing it to securely grip steel structures.
The ability to climb walls opens new prospects for industrial automation. In the future, such robots are planned to be used on ships and other facilities where human work involves high risk.
