Hyperliquid Burns $8.9M Worth of HYPE Tokens

The Assistance Fund executed a large-scale burn of Hyperliquid's HYPE tokens. Approximately 96,660 units were destroyed, valued at around $8.9 million.

The buyback and subsequent burn operation was conducted on October 5. This move aims to reduce the total token supply and potentially stimulate its market value.

Buyback activity over the past month has been high. More than 823,000 HYPE were bought back in 30 days, indicating a systematic approach to liquidity management.

The average daily buyback volume is approximately 27,400 tokens. Such regular operations create sustained demand and influence the asset's pricing in the short term.
