Husband Deleted Items From Wife's WoW Account As Revenge

A US woman discovered that rare items were disappearing from her World of Warcraft account. Her husband deleted valuable loot as revenge for her meetings with friends.

The scandal began after the player's wife returned from a party and noticed missing gear. Blizzard support confirmed: no login from a foreign IP was recorded.

The reason for the husband's actions was depression and a desire to isolate his wife at home. He secretly deleted items on which she spent dozens of hours farming.

  • One of the deleted staves required about 100 hours of farming
  • Support found no traces of hacking via a foreign IP address
  • The victim has already changed her password to protect her account

The incident revealed new facets of cyberbullying in family relationships. Players should be more attentive to the security settings of their gaming profiles.
