Account-killing link in Telegram: how not to lose access forever

A dangerous link has been discovered in the Telegram messenger that can lead to a complete loss of access to your account. Attackers disguise malicious resources as gifts or useful offers.

Clicking on such a link causes the user's profile to be frozen. Restoring access after this is extremely difficult, and in some cases impossible.

How to protect yourself from being banned

• Carefully check all links before clicking
• Do not click on suspicious gift offers
• Avoid following links from unknown senders
