Homelable: visualizing home lab infrastructure
Homelable: visualizing home network and equipment
Review of Homelable: an open-source tool for visualizing a home lab. Scanning via nmap, integration with Proxmox, Zigbee, creating rack diagrams and exporting to PNG.
Homelable is an open-source tool for visualizing home IT infrastructure. The program allows you to create interactive network diagrams with real-time device monitoring.
Network scanning is performed via the nmap utility. The system imports topologies from Proxmox, Zigbee and Z-Wave. Node availability is checked using ping, HTTP, TCP and SSH methods.
Supports designing server rack schematics. Users can display connections between hardware ports. Ready-made designs are exported in PNG graphic format.
The project is written in TypeScript. Full source code is available on GitHub.
