Moscow-Minsk High-Speed Railway: Three Hours Instead of Seven

Russia and Belarus have begun construction of a high-speed railway connecting Moscow and Minsk. The project involves creating a direct route that will fundamentally change logistics between the two countries.

The new line will reduce travel time from Moscow to Belarus by 2.5 times. Trains will reach speeds of up to 400 km/h, comparable to metro frequency but at an interstate level.
