Salary and Communication: How Income Affects the Desire to Connect
A massive study involving 135,000 people revealed a direct link between income level and social activity. Scientists confirmed that the higher the salary, the less desire there is to communicate with those around you.
The study showed a clear trend: growth in financial well-being is accompanied by a decrease in the need for social interaction. People with high incomes become less sociable compared to those who earn less.
An inverse relationship also exists. The lower the salary level, the stronger a person's drive for communication and conversations with others. This observation helps better understand the psychological aspects of social behavior depending on economic status.
