Herman Gref: Bitcoin is a High-Risk Instrument

Sberbank CEO Herman Gref admitted that he was one of the first investors in Bitcoin. He sold part of his assets and spent another part on buying regular items, such as T-shirts. According to him, it now scares him to think about the cost of these purchases at the current cryptocurrency exchange rate.

Gref noted that Bitcoin remains a high-risk instrument. However, he believes that using cold wallets is a good solution in the current market conditions. Nevertheless, the expert does not recommend considering BTC as a strategic asset for a long-term investment portfolio.
