Google cancels free access to top neural networks
Google is changing its policy on access to its neural network models, restricting free features for users without a subscription. Starting October 9, the basic service level will be available exclusively through Flash-Lite.
To gain access to the platform's advanced capabilities, users must subscribe to AI Plus for five dollars or AI Pro for twenty dollars per month.
Paid access includes:
- Access to the Flash model with the AI Plus plan
- Advanced features with the AI Pro plan
The future Gemini 4 model is also expected to be available only via paid subscriptions, marking the end of the era of completely free use of the company's advanced AI tools.
Detailed information about the changes is available on Google's official support page.
