Gen Z becomes the unhappiest generation due to depression
Young people aged 18 to 29 have been found to be the unhappiest generation according to a recent survey. Only 44% of Gen Zers consider themselves happy, which is significantly lower than the 64% recorded in 2010.
One in four members of this generation is already undergoing treatment for depression. The main reason for the deterioration of their psychological state lies in external factors.
- global economic crises
- affordable housing issues
- rising prices for goods and services
- pandemic aftermath
- social media pressure
