First Spot Bitcoin ETF in Switzerland Approved by FINMA Regulator

The Swiss financial regulator FINMA has approved the country's first spot Bitcoin ETF available to retail investors. The fund is issued by BIT Asset Management AG, a Swiss subsidiary of BIT (formerly known as Matrixport).

BIT representatives emphasize that this product is the only true spot Bitcoin ETF in Europe. This distinction is due to the fact that the fund directly holds BTC assets on its balance sheet.
