Fan Saves 90 Discs of Iconic Cinema Behind-the-Scenes Footage

A fan purchased an archive from Phil Tippett's studio, a legend in special effects who worked on iconic films. The collection includes 90 discs with unique materials.

Inside the archive are photos from filming, computer animation tests, and interviews. Of particular interest are sketches of bugs from "Starship Troopers" and a book featuring creature designs for the film "Evolution".

The archive's author notes that some materials have not previously appeared online in such quality. The museum of childhood movies is now available online via a browser link to Archive.org.
