Dyson recalls expensive AI toothbrush due to moisture issues

Dyson has discontinued sales of its premium toothbrush, which cost up to 420 thousand rubles. The reason for the recall was a critical vulnerability of the device to water exposure.

The innovative device with artificial intelligence broke down after the very first use due to moisture getting inside the housing. This led to a complete failure of the electronics.

The development project took six years. During this time, engineers received 38 patents and invested millions of dollars in creating a device that failed to become a reliable solution for consumers.
