Black Triangle Channel TelegramDodo Pizza IT System Breach: Customer Data Leak Details
Dodo Pizza has confirmed the breach of its IT systems. The hackers' attack took place on September 27 and 28, resulting in unauthorized access to customer databases.
The DATASUCKERS group claimed responsibility for the incident. Hackers stated they exfiltrated between 2 and 3 TB of information about restaurants and orders from various countries, primarily concerning Russian customers.
The following personal data may have been compromised:
- names, phone numbers, and email addresses
- home addresses and dates of birth
- details of previously placed orders
The company emphasizes that payment data is not stored, so bank card information should not have been exposed to attackers. The exact number of affected customers has not yet been disclosed.
The main threat following the breach is phishing attacks. Scammers may impersonate delivery staff, citing real addresses and past orders, to trick customers into revealing SMS codes or card details.
Forced logouts from the app are a security measure implemented by the company. If users were suddenly logged out, it indicates that security protocols have been activated.
