Massive flight delays at Sheremetyevo: planes are being diverted

Massive disruptions in air traffic are being experienced at Sheremetyevo Airport due to ongoing flight delays and cancellations in Moscow. The situation has been ongoing for several days, causing significant schedule disruptions.

The difficult situation is forcing air traffic controllers to seek unconventional solutions to ensure safety and logistics.

According to media reports, some aircraft are being diverted to other cities because landing at Moscow airports has become impossible. This decision helps relieve airspace congestion and avoid further buildup of aircraft on runways.
