Debts of the Largest AI Companies Amount to Hundreds

The largest technology companies, actively developing artificial intelligence initiatives, have accumulated significant debt obligations. The total amount of these debts amounts to hundreds of billions of US dollars.

Debt volumes include only bonds and loans. Among AI companies, the leaders in this metric are Amazon with $132 billion, Oracle ($125 billion), and Alphabet ($123 billion).

Debt burden of other market leaders

In addition to direct debt, companies take on obligations for data center leases that have not yet begun operations. Microsoft has committed to paying $329 billion, Oracle — $288 billion, and Meta — $279 billion.
