Data Centers Switch to ICE+ Immersion Cooling

ICE+ Server Immersion Cooling System

At the Moscow Startup Summit, Enginiring+ presented an innovative ICE+ immersion cooling system for servers. Hardware is submerged in a special non-conductive liquid that dissipates heat more efficiently than traditional coolers. The solution is already being tested on real computing systems.

How the technology works

The ICE+ system uses dielectric fluid to directly contact electronic components. This approach significantly improves heat dissipation compared to air cooling. The technology was developed by MIK participants and finalists of the Energy Innovation Marathon.

Advantages of immersion cooling

  • High thermal conductivity ensures rapid heat dissipation
  • Absence of moving parts reduces noise levels
  • Increased server equipment density
  • Reduced energy consumption of ventilation systems

The technology is not yet used to protect consumer electronics like smartphones, but it is actively being deployed in data centers to handle large-scale data processing tasks.
