According to traders' estimates, the chance of a rate cut in October stands at about 55%. On September 29, it reached approximately 70%.
New York Fed President John Williams noted that after raising rates on September 16, the regulator has no need to rush into making the next decision.
At the same time, market participants allow for one more rate hike by the end of the year.
