CEO becomes Chief Echpochmak Officer in new Tatar dictionary

A new business term has emerged in Tatarstan: CEO has been renamed to Chief Echpochmak Officer. The initiative comes from T-Business and the SlovoDna project, which presented an updated Tatar business dictionary.

The humorous guide was released for the "Local Code" festival in Kazan. The event takes place within the framework of a federal expedition by T-Bank aimed at studying regional features of doing business in Russia.

The dictionary introduced the expression "Shap happens," meaning the inevitability of success. It also revealed the financial strategy of local accountants called "Bashta chae. Annaresh ish," which translates as tea first, then work.
