Buterin proposes STARK proofs for Ethereum

Vitalik Buterin is actively promoting the use of STARK proofs for Ethereum scaling. Although this technology has not yet been integrated into the main network, the platform's co-founder regularly shares strategic visions on social media.

Scaling through cryptographic proofs

Ethereum is viewed as a cryptographic world computer, where data and computations do not have to reside in the main execution stream. For resource-intensive tasks performed independently, it is recommended to generate STARK proofs on the client side.

The resulting proofs are then transmitted via the recursive aggregation mechanism described in EIP-8288. This approach helps relieve the main data processing channel, increasing overall network efficiency.
