Birch allergy vaccine to launch in late October
A vaccine against birch pollen allergy will become available to the Russian public in late October. The planned vaccination volume will be around 60,000 patients.
Features of the new vaccine
The drug is specifically designed to combat pollinosis caused by birch flowering. This will significantly reduce the number of exacerbations among allergy sufferers during the spring-summer period.
Scale of the program implementation
The initial campaign will cover up to 60,000 people. This is the first stage of introducing next-generation specific immunotherapy into widespread practice.
