Avito.Tech.Conf Results: AI Metrics and Networking
Top management of Russian technology companies gathered in Moscow for Avito.Tech.Conf. The event brought together more than a thousand IT leaders from major corporations.
Participants included representatives from RWB, Sber, Beeline, Alfa-Bank, VK, T-Bank, OZON, and Yandex. The conference served as a platform for sharing experience and strategic insights.
A key outcome of the conference was the exchange of practical experience in implementing artificial intelligence in business processes. Participants shared efficiency metrics and new approaches to development.
- Avito reduced cycle time by more than 30%, exceeding the planned target of 15%. This was achieved using over 100 MCP servers and more than 4,000 skills.
Development efficiency has increased significantly due to the automation of routine tasks. Coding now takes up only 20% of the total development time.
- 25% of time is spent on technical analysis of tasks.
- The remaining time is divided between internal synchronization, communication, testing, meetings, and debugging.
Vladimir Surdin led a discussion on the role of curiosity in science and business. He noted that the benefits of fundamental research often become apparent years later.
For example, the discovery of neutrinos had no immediate practical application. Today, detectors for these particles are used to scan the Earth down to its core.
Participants cited face-to-face interaction as the main value of the conference. It allows colleagues to align efforts and realize that industry challenges are universal.
This format of interaction helps find common solutions to complex technical and managerial issues. Next year's event promises to be no less large-scale.
